Sony recently filed a patented with the World Intellectual Property Organization for a new AI assistant which will be included in PlayStation 5. Sony's AI assistant will function similarly to many other AI assistants already on the market, however, it will also be able to provide specific help for gamers.
The AI assistant will be able to help players navigate through a game, and it can provide tips, resources, and even DLC. Specifically, the Patient reads, "Often, there may be an in-game resource of the game environment that could aid the user in accomplishing the objective with the character."
Overall an AI assistant native to the console could help players who may require outside assistance.
