Blackmailing Goal Helpers

Aherk App Will Post Embarrassing Photos of You If You Fail

The Aherk app is here to help you achieve your goals. After all, you can make all the New Year's resolutions you want, but if there are no negative repercussions of not achieving those goals, you'll probably be less motivated -- and thus, less likely -- to achieve them. What the Aherk app does is hold you to your mission by helping you blackmail yourself so that you'll be motivated to achieve what you set out to achieve. The app does so by posting an embarrassing photo of you on Facebook if you fail to reach your objective.

First, you define your goal and set a deadline for it to be achieved. Then, you upload an embarrassing photo of yourself that, if you fail to reach your goal, will be posted on Facebook. The Aherk app will do so by getting votes from your Facebook friends; after your deadline expires, your friends must vote to tell Aherk whether or not you reached your goal.
