Autodesk previewed the next generation of Autodesk Assistant, an agentic AI experience spanning its Forma, Fusion and Flow clouds. Drawing on connected project data, the system is designed to understand both a user’s request and its broader project context while bringing forward relevant tools and keeping professionals in control.
The experience includes Personal Pulse for prioritized issues, Assistant Spaces for investigation and collaboration, and Assistant Builder for connecting customer agents and tools. AI Orchestrator selects models based on accuracy, speed, security and cost, while natural-language and voice controls link users with Autodesk’s design, simulation, manufacturing and production capabilities.
For practitioners, the system could surface downstream effects and identify tools needed to respond, with AI Transparency Cards and human oversight supporting professional judgment. The preview reflects a shift toward industry-specific AI grounded in proprietary workflows. For Autodesk, connecting intelligence across its clouds could encourage broader platform adoption. Rollout details are expected in 2027.
