UNIQLO's latest drop for the Spring/Summer 2018 season features a set of affordable t-shirts designs that have a distinct nostalgia-driven and logo-heavy aesthetic. The brand has launched some very creative graphics this year — from the anime-themed or superhero-celebrating tees to the fast food-centric or ramen-inspired shirts.
This drop is titled 'Brands-MASTERPIECE', and it boasts UNIQLO's affordable t-shirts and recurringly heavy references "toward some of the world's most notable imprints." Instead of undertaking the conventional approach to over-branding, UNIQLO builds from the popularity of other global-scale brands. From graphics for motorcycle manufacturing company DUCATI to the logo of Japanese footwear producer KIKKOMAN, some standouts of affordable t-shirt designs include a sizable retro illustration of a Victorinox Swiss Army knife and a minimalist backpiece of Roland's color-coded buttons.
