Adults who never learned how to swim are missing out on a valuable life skill that could be potentially life-saving, as well as recreation, fitness and social opportunities. The Allianz Swim Club is poised to help adults learn to swim and gain confidence in the water.
According to a study from Allianz Australia, 93% of residents believe swimming is an integral part of their lives, but almost 60% of adults either can’t swim or desire greater confidence in the water.
This free learn-to-swim program for adults is operating with AUSTSWIM and Masters Swimming Australia, and as of October 2023, it will operate across more than a dozen pools in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia.
