adidas and Allbirds Join Forces to Support Sustainable Causes

adidas and Allbirds work in collaboration to develop a zero-carbon sports performing shoe. The two brands are rivals in the industry and look beyond that for the joined effort of green initiatives. Both of the contributing brands are large names in pushing forth a sustainable world.

The sneaker is described to be a technical market shoe that is effective enough to compete at a world-class event such as the Olympics. All of these functions are to be expected as well as reducing the overall carbon footprint down to zero throughout the life cycle. The shoe is anticipated to be complete within a year and Tim Brown of Allbirds states that the focus is to create a shoe with technical prowess.
