This adidas Ad Says That Hard Work and Determination Aren't Enough

A new adidas ad titled 'Sport Needs Creators' is circulating, as are rumors that it supposedly targets the slogan of Nike, as well as quotes from its representatives, going along with.

As HYPEBEAST reports, the statement included in the adidas ad that says "If you call yourself an athlete create something" is possibly a reference against Nike's claim of "If you have a body, you are an athlete."

Although its not clear that it's the brand's direct goal in doing this, it makes itself standout from its competitor by showing itself as unique in its mantra. In order to do this, the adidas ad features high-profile athletes like Paul Pogba, Von Miller, Brandon Ingram and Aaron Rodgers, with each maintaining that success is about originality, rather than just hard work alone.
