Singular Sock Boxes

Flashtones' Sustainable Accessory Packaging Makes Cardboard Artful

The use of cardboard in an accessory packaging project often means that a designer has opted for sustainability over style, but when producing packages for Flashtones' socks, Petr Kudlacek found a balance of both traits.

The singular sock packs contain only one colorful sock, which makes it easy for consumers to purchase exactly what they need. To make it easy to pick out one of the brand's fun sock colors, the boxes include colorful round cutouts.

Since cardboard on its own can often look quite simple, the packaging for Flashtones was elevated with golden engravings, which gives the colorful accessories a premium feel. By using cardboard for the majority of the sock packaging, the boxes can easily be recycled after use.
