Fabrica Designed a Desk Organizer with the Plant Lover in Mind

Italian design firm Fabrica have come up with the Statera, a desk organizer that accommodates both plants and stationary. Recognizing the therapeutic potential of plants, Fabrica's designers wanted to bring their soothing element to the work space.

The Statera, which is Latin for "balance," features a black metal skeleton, which holds two ceramic pots on either side, along with hook-like hanging devices meant for tape rolls. The frame is supported by an oval-shaped base made of stone. The base is slightly depressed, leaving extra room for random desktop items, while the rim has been punctured with holes to stand pens.

The designers want to stress that, beyond its organizational capabilities, the Statera allows users to reap the physical and mental health benefits of plant life without sacrificing too much space in the process.
