Suzlon Unveils Its Suzlon 2.0 Strategy

Suzlon launched Suzlon 2.0, repositioning the company from a wind turbine manufacturer into a wind-first renewable energy solutions provider with capabilities spanning project development, execution, asset management and energy storage. The strategy targets 10 GW of annual renewable energy sales and 70 GW of assets under management by FY31, outlining a long-term growth roadmap beyond the company’s traditional wind business.

As part of the plan, Suzlon intends to expand into integrated renewable energy projects that combine wind, solar and battery storage while strengthening its project development and delivery capabilities. The company also outlined ambitions to participate in the growing battery energy storage market as demand rises for flexible renewable energy infrastructure.

For customers, the shift aims to provide more comprehensive renewable energy solutions through a single provider, simplifying project deployment and long-term asset management. The strategy reflects a broader industry trend toward integrated clean-energy platforms that combine generation, storage and services to support the energy transition.
