Utility Scale Solar Modules

GREW Solar Powers NTPC Renewable Energy With High Output Panels

GREW Solar secured a large-scale contract to supply 1,464.5 megawatts of solar modules to NTPC Renewable Energy for its projects in Uttar Pradesh, India. The deal, valued at more than ₹2,000 crore, positions GREW Solar as a key hardware partner in NTPC’s expanding clean power portfolio. The collaboration centers on delivering advanced photovoltaic hardware for multiple utility-scale sites under development.

The company is set to provide high-efficiency solar PV modules manufactured with contemporary production methods and strict quality controls. These modules are designed to improve energy yield from a given footprint, which is critical for large solar parks and grid-connected projects. As one of NTPC Renewable Energy’s larger module-supply orders to date, the agreement supports the utility’s multiyear capacity ramp-up strategy.

For consumers and industry stakeholders, this scale of module deployment signals accelerating investment in solar infrastructure and improved grid access to clean electricity. High-efficiency hardware at the utility level can help drive down the long-term cost of renewable power while supporting national decarbonization goals. The project underscores a broader trend toward vertically integrated, long-horizon solar partnerships between manufacturers and major power producers.
