80s-Inspired Eyewear Frames

Timberland's SS19 Collection Features

Timberland unveils a collection full of 80s-inspired eyewear for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. The range is entitled 'City Force' and it features familiar silhouettes including the pilot and the navigator delivered in reworked iterations. The range boasts a retro inspiration and it incorporates a sturdy construction using materials that blend together aluminum and acetate.

The overall aesthetic follows oversized designs and exaggerated proportions highlighted by bio-based materials. Some of the standout designs include the tortoiseshell acetate and aluminum frames that are accompanied by a geometric nose bridge cut out and is lined with golden accents. Another notable design is the navigator glasses crafted from clear acetate. All of the eyewear designs from the City Force collection are set to drop in May.
