Border-Inspired Coffee Rebrands

49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is Based in Vancouver, Canada

49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is a charming direct-trade coffee company based in Vancouver, Canada that recently debuted new packaging. The Canadian coffee roaster takes its name from the longest unguarded border in the world, between Canada and the United States.

The redesigned branding for 49th Parallel was created by graphic designer Roger Dario over a yearlong collaboration with the brand, who sought to make the "49" in the logo more prominent. In addition to new coffee bean bag packaging and a new logo, Dario applied the designs to various marketing materials such as tin mugs and business cards. The new merchandise is available at restaurant and cafe partners of 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, as well as through their own online store on their website.
