Snapchat has launched 3D selfie features, which will only be available to iPhone users with the iPhone X or later editions. The 3D selfie feature is able to create photos that have special detailing in them, which alter the perspective of the photo.
The 3D selfie capabilities can be accessed on the updated version of the app, where users can access the drop-down menu to tap the '3D' button. Users not accessing the platform with an iPhone will be able to see the 3D icon, but not access the 3D capabilities.
The platform is also incorporating 3D effects in its filter section, which will bring 3D capabilities to the platform's various filters and lenses.
