Designed to conquer all terrains, the 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept is keeping its roots of compact size but revving up the heat when it comes to rough and buff, off-road tumbling.
Debuting at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, the new and improved Beetle seems to capture the spirit of rugged and adventure-seeking masculinity perfectly. A hybrid homage to the 2000 VW New Beetle Dune Concept and Beetle R-Line, the 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Concept has stronger tires, a little bit of a body-lift, rocker panels, front-wheel-drive layout, a six-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 210-horsepower TSI turbocharged engine.
This new sporty Beetle with its adaptable design and functionality will look right at home in Sub-Saharan deserts or Australian surf havens.
