Luxury Aluminum SUVs

The 2013 Range Rover is Lightweight and Classy

Land Rover did the world a favor when it pulled the covers off of its 2013 Range Rover. The redesigned Range Rover has more than just a new look; it's made with new materials designed to make it lighter, more agile and more comfortable.

The 2013 Range Rover sports an all-aluminum unibody frame that is 39 percent lighter than the steely 2012 model. The total weight savings will vary by country, but the U.S. Range Rover is expected to shave off 700 pounds. The new body is complemented by a four-corner air suspension system that lets you corner like a pro. Acoustic lamination on the rear windows keeps outside noise outside where it belongs. In the rear, legroom has been increased by 4.7 inches. Engine wise, American consumers will be able to choose from a range of V8s. The 2013 Range Rover goes on sale in America December 2012.
