These weather-sensitive gadgets reveal our zest to predict Mother Nature's whims. From Internet-connected personal forecasters that alert us of impending inclement weather to touchscreen tablets that reveal outdoor conditions when they're held up to a window, the technology industry has clearly risen to the occasion.
My favorite weather-sensitive gadgets are the ones embedded in products we're already accustomed to using, like umbrellas or water bottles.
Implications - From personal weather forecasters to all weather iPod controllers, products that are able to help us better understand the weather and make predictions for it. As well, technological advances will help in aiding preparation and acting when a natural disaster occurs and affects worldwide.
