In Honor of John Barry, the Man With the Midas Touch

 - Jan 31, 2011
Five-time Oscar champ John Barry was a music legend, whose works were far more famous than he himself. He was most noted as the composer behind 11 of the James Bond films, but also wrote the scores for Dancing with the Wolves and Out of Africa.

In memory of this Grammy winner, who passed away on Sunday in New York at the age of 77, here are a few gloriously gilded creations, helping you remember this "man with the Midas Touch."
