Today is Friendship Day, and in honor of this holiday I've amassed some of my favorite features that deal with friends. These Friendship Day features range from the bizarre to the macabre and downright funny. Dive in!

You can hire people to be your friend, have virtual social media mates and even replace your spouse with a doll who represents physical perfection. Face-to-face contact is no longer necessary in order to maintain a relationship and soon, another human may not even be necessary if technology keeps advancing the way it has.
