25 Freaky Frankenstein Innovations

From Movie Monster Manicures to Ugly Undead Consoles

— October 27, 2011 — Unique
Though vampires seem to reign over pop culture when it comes to monsters, with bloodsucking TV shows and movies continuing to grow in popularity each day, there’s no denying the horror that is Frankenstein and his bride.

From freaky festive Frankenstein treats to Nike shoes influenced by the monster, the influence of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel is still felt today. With Halloween just around the corner, now is the perfect time to pay tribute to the green-skinned gruesome creation, with creepy costumes and awesome Frankenstein-inspired accessories. Though I don’t think I’d be ready for a full Frankenstein makeover myself, I do plan on sporting some morbid movie monster nail designs for October 31.

For a look at all the coolest Frankenstein-inspired finds, and for some Halloween horror inspiration, check out this spooktacular slideshow.
