For the first time on record, temperatures in the UK have exceeded 40°C and to help people cope during the heatwave, White Claw UK set up "the coolest wall in East London." The cooling mural located on 83 Redchurch Street in Shoreditch spans nearly 20 feet and it uses tones of white and blue to evoke the refreshing depths of the ocean, ice and colder places.
The Cool Wall billboard is complete with cooling mats and touch-activated gel centers that actually absorb the heat of the person touching it. The billboard itself is also protected by heatproof (frost-fueled) paint.
This mural will remain in place for about two weeks and it promises to provide an immense amount of relief for Londoners.
