The Tesla Standard Vehicles are Priced Starting at $36,990

The Tesla Standard electric vehicles have been formally announced by the brand as a series of EV options that are focused on a lower cost price point. The vehicles come in the form of the Tesla Model 3 sedan and the Tesla Model Y SUV, which are priced at $36,990 and $39,990, respectively.

The Standard vehicles are rated to offer around 321-miles of range when fully charged and have fewer features when compared to the original options offered by the brand. The vehicles thus don't have the Autopilot feature, but do have the traffic-aware cruise control.

The Tesla Standard electric vehicles also feature scaled back interior cabins including manually adjusted side mirrors and steering wheel, no AM/FM radio and a seven-speaker sound system instead of the usual 15 speaker one.
