Niall McLaughlin Architects completes the Saltmarsh House design on the Isle of Wright. The home is defined by a prefabricated steel frame with a copper roof created in a pyramidal shape overlooking the tidal salt marsh of its surroundings. The house is designed to have a premium thermal envelope and the home is made up of a long dining and living space. It is framed by three smaller chambers that houses a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.

The studio speaks about the design project to Dezeen, stating that "The site is characterized by pasture and rich woodland containing oak, hazel and field maple. It overlooks the remnants of an old tidal mill pond with a sandy duver and the harbour beyond.
