SavorEat & BBB are Collaborating on Custom 3D-Printed Burgers

Alternative protein developer SavorEat and hamburger chain BBB are teaming up to share 3D-printed hamburgers that are customized according to customer preferences. A handful of BBB locations will be introducing this brand-new custom alternative burger option and it will provide insights into the way consumers prefer to eat.

These collaborative 3D-printed burgers make the most of SavorEat’s proprietary potato, pea, and chickpea protein source as a base, although the protein levels, density and fat can be adjusted by customers via an app.

The customized burgers are prepared by a robot chef and as BBB CEO Ahuva Turgeman says, "for the first time ever, a customer can come to a meat-oriented hamburger restaurant, and with a push of a button on an app order a juicy, digitally manufactured, vegan burger."
