London firm Studio Hagen Hall has completed the Pine Heath townhouse renovation. The building was first built in the 60s and is located in Hampstead, London. The space is restored and features a rich palette of cherry wood and stainless steel. The home was first designed by South African architect Ted Levy. The restoration retained a lot of its original build, boasting a mid-century finish.
Hagen Hall tells Dezeen, "Visual connections around the stairwell were enhanced through careful realignment and heightening of doorways to allow clear sightlines along the full length of the house on every floor. The original Paraná Pine cladding, used in existing ceilings and the central stairwell, set the tone for a warm, refined palette of complementary timber veneer, stainless steel, microcement, and cherry wood, balancing craftsmanship, tactility, and modern performance."
