Renovated Residential Projects

TH Residence by DeDraft is a Renovated Home in East Sussex

TH Residence is a renovated home located in East Sussex, England, redesigned by architecture studio DeDraft. The project involved the transformation of a 1960s property through both spatial reorganisation and material upgrades. The residence’s interior was updated using a combination of warm wood tones and ceramic tile surfaces that frame primary circulation and functional zones throughout the home.

The redesign reconfigures the plan to improve flow between living spaces, with emphasis on daylight penetration and material continuity. Existing partitions were adjusted to open sightlines between key areas such as the kitchen, living room, and dining space. Warm timber finishes are used on floors, cabinetry, and wall surfaces, contrasting with ceramic tiling in wet and utility spaces. These materials were chosen for durability and to articulate distinct programmatic areas.
