Parramon + Tahull Designs a New Apartment in Barcelona

Barcelona design studio Parramon + Tahull renovate a traditional apartment in the Gracia apartment with intricate detailing. The space is home to a family of four, who have occupied the space over a few years. Now, it gets a new and modern update to complement the building's existing features. The studio started off by removing the partition walls to create a brighter and more open space.

The studio tells Dezeen that "We wanted to bring natural light into all the spaces and to achieve a sense of flowing, continuous space despite the limited surface area. We were interested in working with natural materials and returning some of the original spirits of the building to the apartment."
