Lowe's Open Builder Shares Hundreds of 3D Product Assets for Free

In lieu of entering the metaverse with a storefront presence for the purpose of selling virtual goods, Lowe's is inviting builders into a new asset hub called Open Builder. Open and accessible to all creators, this hub was mindfully made to address "key challenges of interoperability and accessibility."

With items from its real-world shelves, Lowe's Open Builder makes over 500 3D product assets available for download for free. These 3D assets include everything from lighting solutions and patio furniture to decorative rugs, decor accents and accessories. These free assets from Lowe's have applications in the metaverse and beyond, since they may be used for gaming, augmented reality and creative design.

Along with the launch of this new hub, Lowe's is dropping a limited NFT wearable collection for builders in Decentraland.
