T-Mobile will power the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club with a private 5G network supporting CBS Sports broadcasts, alongside a 4D camera experience available on YouTube and a Smart Operations Command Center monitoring crowd flow, concessions and entry points in real time. The T-Mobile PGA Championship infrastructure connects more than 60 smartphones capturing footage at the T-Mobile Range, as well as remote-controlled fly cameras positioned at the first tee and 18th green.
The tournament will also debut an AI Course Companion designed to answer fan questions and guide foot traffic throughout the venue. T-Mobile customers will additionally gain access to Club Magenta, a premium viewing space at the 15th green featuring complimentary charging, drink specials and appearances from Philadelphia sports personalities including Cooper DeJean and Ryan Howard.
T-Mobile shows how combining 5G connectivity and AI-powered venue tools can enhance both live sports broadcasting and the on-site fan experience.
