This device connects wirelessly to a smartphone app that lets you monitor heart rate, breathing, skin temperature and steps taken among other signs. The measurements are accurate and the product has been certified by the FDA.

Encouragingly, the product's developers say they want to make it as inexpensive as possible and "build billions" of them. An inexpensive, easy to use and accurate personal diagnostic tool could help improve health outcomes for many.
