20 CES 2021 Smart Home Innovations

These CES 2021 smart home innovations range from connected doorbells and smart outdoor plugs to self-cleaning stick vacuums. With this year's Consumer Electronics Show event hosted virtually as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, global brands showcased a number of smart home products created with both style and convenience in mind.

A notable example is the Ergomotion's smart bed base solution for "enhanced connectivity and health" that highlighted traditional features like temperature and voice controls alongside next-level smart home connectivity features. These included sleep data analysis, customized circulation cycle tracking for improved muscle function and more. The Nobi smart lamp is another notable example that doubles as a senior-friendly safety device. The ceiling-mounted lamp relies on AI to "distinguish between people sitting, standing and laying down, and in the case of the latter, it will reach out and ask if help is needed."

With the masses social distancing and spending more time at home amidst COVID-19, consumers are reprioritizing convenience and comfort by embracing customizable smart home tech.
