While some emerging social networks pick up where other apps left off, others serve as a curious combination of defining features from others.

Emerging social networks offer brands the unique opportunity to be there first. By getting online where the consumers are before anyone else figures out which app they are migrating from, brands can create meaningful impressions in a way that appears organic and intuitive.

An example of an emerging social app that centers on campus life is Speakiesy, which aims to bring back the exclusivity of the original Facebook offerings in a mobile platform that adds in the temporary media life of a Snapchat.

Additionally, the recently updated Snapcash app combines temporary photo sharing with the convenient digital payment technology quickly taking over the wearables realm.
