The Line app is a burgeoning social media platform offering unlimited free messaging across all smartphone devices as well as personal computers. The emerging social network has quickly become a powerful tool for brands to engage fans with exclusive offers and boasts an impressive library of 10,000 stickers and emoticons, making it a millennial's dream come true.

Some brands and organizations that have released exclusive content through the Line app include Coca-Cola and Disney, while entertainer and businessman Snoop Dogg was one of the first celebrities to create an official account and the NBA, who recently released a set of limited edition stickers featuring some of the sport's most beloved stars.

An interesting note regarding the origins of the Line app is that it was created after Japan's 2011 earthquake as a means to resolve the issue of the country's destroyed telecommunications systems.
