Shimansky Jewelers don’t mess around with advertising. Their latest ad campaign shows women running away through kitchens, roofs of buildings and bathroom windows from a man who—GASP!—didn’t propose with a Shimansky ring.
Cockily, their slogan states “It should have been Shimansky,” and then explains “to dramatize the importance of proposing with the right ring, that being a Shimansky ring, we show what could happen if the wrong ring was offered.” Props to advertising agency Y&R in Cape Town, South Africa to have the balls to make such a bold ad campaign.
