V R viru is the designer behind the ZYVOR concept, which is a luxury office chair that is made from wood and marble materials. The selection of contrasting materials blends warm and cool components in a unique way. Marble needs more processing time than wood does but both of these are considered to be natural or sustainable to a certain level.
Although the two have a contrasting form and visuals, wood is sourced from a living and natural part of the environment whereas marble and stone are grated and chiseled from nature. The chair has a marble base that has a cylinder form and then it naturally curved upwards to support the wooden seat at the top.
