Following the release of 'Instagram Stories' and an option for high-profile accounts to disable comments on their posts, Instagram is responding to consumer demand and including a feature that allows users to zoom in on photos through the app for the first time ever.
The company explained this update with a post on its own account and a caption that reads "Over the past six months, you’ve seen many exciting changes come to Instagram, from a new icon to longer videos and even a new way to share everyday moments with Instagram Stories. And as things change, we’re still focused on improving the core parts of Instagram."
Currently, the feature that allows users to zoom in on photos is only available to iOS users, however the company claims that the update will extend to Android phones as well in a few short weeks.
