Frieke Janssens' 'Your Last Shot' Series Has a Disturbing Theme

— September 12, 2013 — Unique
If you ever wanted to make sure you had a good looking photograph before you died, the 'Your Last Shot' series is perfect for you. Photographer Frieke Janssens created a series that asks people to pose for the picture that will be used after they die.

The morbid concept produces some wonderful photography, but aside from the aesthetics, it's just a really intriguing idea. As Janssens explains, "In reality, those left behind need to quickly find a photo that is ‘OK’ and usually requires some Photoshop retouching."

That's definitely a valid point, but he would certainly have to have a creative, let alone slightly dark mind to think of the 'Your Last Shot' project.
