Retro Comic-Book Style Animations

Marvel Presents Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

An official look at the upcoming animation by Marvel Entertainment dubbed Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has just been unveiled. It will be streaming on Disney+ starting January 29, 2025, and the animated series rewinds back to the formative years of Peter Parker.

The show also offers an alternative plotline so instead of Tony Stark in the path, it is Norman Osborn -- also known as the Green Goblin stepping into the role of mentor. The dynamic veers into a new angle that is different from the one familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer sees young Peter Parker in high school and it follows a vibrant style that is inspired by a retro comic book aesthetic.
