YDK Morimoe is one of those artists whose paintings are instantly ingrained in your memory as soon as you lay eyes upon her work. With a unique mastery over digital artistry, Ydk Morimoe is able to craft images that are a blend of realism and surrealism. It actually becomes quite difficult to distinguish her work from digital and analog art pieces.

Technical ability aside, I'm most fascinated by Ydk Morimoe's interesting subjects for her paintings. Many of her illustrations feature injured individuals with pained expressions. Yet, as a viewer, I can't help but be hopeful for the people depicted, even if they have endured insanely horrific abuses.

Implications - Consumers gravitate towards surreal illustrations because they offer viewers euphoric escapist experiences. Companies looking to create engaging promotional campaigns may consider using surrealistic graphics in their advertisements in order to garner consumer interest.
