Flying Yacht Hybrids

The Monaco 2050 Brings Avian Qualities to the Sea

Yacht hybrids are not an unusual design concept in the megayacht industry. However, the Monaco 2050 is a concept that appeals to both land and sea.

Architect Vasily Klyukin is the designer of the Monaco 2050. This opulent innovation fuses the aesthetics of a jet plane and a yacht for one exquisite super boat. Besides extreme luxury, this boat offers the usual yacht delicacies such as a swimming pool, hot tub and the finest decor.

Sitting atop this luxe boat is a jet plane with screws embedded into its wings. These screws will help the jet rise up and become a helicopter which will be able to fly extreme distances. The jet is equipped with six engines and three downward blades which will allow it to take off quite easily.

Klyukin hopes to have this megayacht complete by the year 2050, which gives other yacht hybrids enough time to catch up.
