The yA-18 STOOL by Beomseok Chae Features Solar Panels

The yA-18 STOOL has been designed by Beomseok Chae as a piece of futuristic, functional furniture that would work in a multitude of ways inside the home. The stool features a metallic base that supports the upper section, which puts a series of PolyCrystalline solar panels in the spotlight. These would work diligently to capture energy from the surrounding environment when exposed to UV rays, while the durable construction of each cell supports being sat on like a traditional stool.

Chae commented on the yA-18 STOOL saying, 'It is an object that represents existence like a sculpture in living space, in which the carved top is arranged like a reflective plate of a radar to form a vanishing point."
