The Xiaomi 12S Series Features Three Phones with Leica Cameras

Xiaomi has announced the launch of 12S Series smartphones, which consist of three modes that come equipped with a powerful built-in camera from Leica, a popular German camera brand known for its high-quality products.
Leading the trio is the new 12S Ultra, which features a MIUI 13 based on Android 12, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship processor, and an extra-large 1-inch, 50.3-megapixel Sony IMX989 main sensor. As a result, the 12S Ultra is able to deliver an impressive 1.6um pixel size, superior low light performance, and enhanced color boosting.
What's more, users can switch between two Leica filters: 'Leica Vibrant Look' and 'Leica Authentic Look.' The latter offers natural shots with a more intense three-dimensional depth, while the former boosts vibrancy.
