The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition Has a One-Inch Image Sensor

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition smartphone is a new flagship mobile device engineered with photography excellence in mind to help users enjoy pro-grade capabilities with the handset. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, while the 6.9-inch AMOLED display offers up to 3,500 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is paired with a 6,800mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports up to 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition smartphone is outfitted with an advanced camera system thanks to a collaboration with Leica and boasts a 200MP telephoto lens, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP front-facing lens. The unit is paired with a manual zoom ring around the camera unit on the rear to incorporate more tactile control and photography-inspired capabilities.
