NASCAR driver Tomy Drissi is coming out with a 'Straight Outta Compton' race car for the Xfinity series. Inspired by the hip-hop group N.W.A.'s upcoming biopic, Drissi's car will have the movie's title and release date plastered across its body.
While it may seem like an unlikely partnership, race cars and hip hop actually do have more in common than just scantily clad females. The partnership of NASCAR and hip-hop can be seen growing in the past couple of years. For instance, 50 Cent teamed up with Swan Racing to promote Beats-by-Dre in 2014 and J. Cole appeared on the February 2015 issue of ESPN Magazine with NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
The Straight Outta Compton Xfinity series car will appear at the Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio races and the corresponding movie it is promoting will be in theaters on August 14th.
