The Pacific & West Notebooks feature collection of writing journals with luxe covers made using pieces of solid walnut to give the books a durable, long-lasting and natural finish. The notebooks include thinly sliced sheets of wood that have been hand-oiled and brass bound onto sheets of paper. The strength of the wood give the journals a solid covering to protect the contents inside from wear and tear.
Journals often tend to be flimsy in shape and design when a soft cover is used to bound the papers together. The Pacific & West Notebooks come with both a wooden cover and backing made from rich dark walnut plywood. The wood is bound using brass to consumer recycled paper in either lined, grid or plain styles.
