Worldart and Sybu Data Releases an App Minimizing Art Buying Concerns

Sybu Data’s André Roodt, in conjunction with Worldart Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa, designed and built a new app that brings a painting to your wall with the click of a button.

The app uses enriched reality technology or augmented reality technology to allow users to capture and buy artwork easier and faster. By simply pointing your device to the wall and clicking on the selected painting, the result will be a photograph that shows the desired painting hanging on the wall in your space -- this is while the artwork has not even left the gallery yet. This way, you will know how it will look and if it will fit in the planned space before swiping your card.

The Worldart app can be downloaded for free and is available for both iPad and iPhone.
