The 'Handaxe' Wooden Knife is Safe and Effective at Cutting
Michael Hemsworth — November 19, 2016 — Art & Design
The basic design of the knife has remained somewhat unchanged over many, many years, which the 'Handaxe' wooden knife combats against. Created by hasoopark, the 'Handaxe' knife takes a somewhat primitive approach to knife design with an aesthetic that turns the object into a sculptural piece of equipment.
Instead of featuring a handle with a blade sticking out the front, the 'Handaxe' features a chunk of finished wood with a guaiacum blade on the underside portion. This can be used to cut a variety of different foods and materials in the kitchen to enable better control and movement during food preparation.
The 'Handaxe' wooden knife comes in different wood grains and is stored on a wooden block to place it on display when not in use.
