A-COLD-WALL* Features Its First Women's Collection

London-based brand A-COLD-WALL* launches a womenswear editorial that takes cues from the cinematic avant-garde movement and German Expressionism. The overall grainy quality of the images adds an interesting quality that helps the Spring/Summer 2018 transcend fashion and move into art. The photoshoot is entitled 'FORM' and it highlights the label's first venture into fashion for women. Heavily informed by the styles and silhouettes of the men's collections, the womenswear editorial features sleek outerwear pieces and stylishly functional bags.

By shooting the collection in black and white, photographer Sara Sani is able to add a mysterious component to the deconstructed silhouettes. Drawing on the inevitable sensuality of the female form, the creative fosters a womenswear editorial that showcases "powerful and provocative clothing" with asymmetrical silhouettes.
