In honor of Women's History Month 2016, Oxfam is hosting a powerful exhibit that celebrates inspiring women from around the world. The event not only honors the subject of each photo, but also the work of the female photo journalists behind the lens.
The 'Women Unlimited' exhibit is a photography exhibition led by four leading female Magnum photographers: Olivia Arthur, Newsha Tavakolian, Cristina García Rodero and Bieke Depoorter. Each photo highlights an inspiring women from a community currently supported by Oxfam. In addition to each photo, there is also a story that details the life of the subject. The idea behind the series is to share the stories of women around the world and demonstrate the influential role women play in ending global poverty.
Timed to coincide with International Women's Day, the event begins on March 8th and runs until March 13th.
