Wireframe Animal Sculptures

Marni Donna Took a Wild Route for Milan Design Week 2014

Milan Design Week 2014 is well under way and the top tier designs have been getting rolled out, including these wireframe animal sculptures by Marni Donna. Marni isn't only making art though, she's also making a charitable contribution by commissioning women in South America to help with the creation of the project, as well as giving revenues from the sales to the Associazione Sogni Onlus charity.

Milan Design Week is a one of a kind event. Like all industry specific conventions, we get to see the best of the best put their creativity and ingenuity to good use. In this piece, Marni and a group of hand picked South American women used seating objects and wireframe to create 'Animal House,' a collection of animal shaped sculptures. The animals included range from donkeys to flamingos to ducks and everything in between.
